Everest 3 Passes trek

Everest 3 Passes trek is a popular trekking trail in Everest Region especially designed for experiencing the ultimate trekking experience passing through three high passes allowing trekkers to experience the highest point of excitement, adventures and thrills of trekking.

As per the name of the trek, this trek passes through 3 major passes in the Everest Region namely, Renjo La (at 5,388 meters above the sea level), Cho La (at 5,380 meters above the sea level) and Kongma La (at 5,545 meters above the sea level).


You will also be climbing three peaks, Gokyo Ri (5,483 meters), Kalapathar (5,545 meters) and Chukung (5,550 meters) during this trek allowing you to explore the ultimate wonders of Himalayas. 

Although, you should not necessarily have any climbing experience in this trek but may encounter several obstacles while trekking either by higher altitude or physical issues, so it will be good to well prepare and know about the Himalayas trekking problem with their relevant solution for making your journey comfortable.

You can start Everest 3 passes trek with a scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu valley. From Lukla, start actual trekking passing the way through Phakdind, Namche, Thame, Lungden, Gokyo, climb Gokyo Ri, Thangna, Zhongla via Chola pass, Gorakshep, Everest Base Camp, Kala Pattar, Lobuche, Chukung via Kongma La, climb Chukung Ri, Pangboche, Namche and finally to Lukla again.

From Lukla, a comfortable flight will take you back to Kathmandu valley. During this high passes trek, you will more likely visit the entire Everest region with mesmerizing scenic and mountain views, adventurous mountain journey, challenging paths, lots of unique and rare exploration in mountainous region and innocent  Sherpa people and their enriched culture and traditions.
